Platia Peramata is a small settlement in the middle of the dirt road that connects Kaloi Limenes with Lentas.

The settlement is 70 kilometers from Heraklion.

A small pebbly beach is in front of the settlement. The residents park their boats there while some taverns, cafeterias and rooms to let are beneath the beach. A beautiful small church is in the end of it and is dedicated to Agios Konstantinos and Agia Eleni.

The beautiful beach of Psili Ammos is near Platia Peramata. If you want to visit it, you should follow the road to Lentas. Generally, there are not any trees for shade and it is not organized, but in a small part of the beach there are some umbrellas.
