The thirteenth route of the E4 European Long Distance Path in Crete is 11,5 kilometers and lasts about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The ideal time to follow it is in spring and autumn, it is not a difficult route and there are E4 signs in order to help you to follow it. Starting from Ammoudari and the asphalted road, go to the south, pass the Petres district and turn left in the Asfendos and Kallikratis fork after 4 kilometers. Go through Impros that is after 1,5 kilometers and follow the path to the torrent that is after 200 meters in the left of the last house of the village. After 20 minutes you reach the main gorge that you should follow. The exit of the gorge is after about 3 kilometers, then, follow the torrent for 1 kilometer. take the asphalted road in the eastern exit of the Komitades settlement and, after that, the car road to Fragokastello.
