The picturesque and small settlement Tourloti is built on a Hill between the villages Kalivia and Tefeli.

Tourloti is approximately 45 km from Heraklion city and administratively belongs to the local community Partira, in Minoa Pediada municipality. The few inhabitants of the village, arriving just 37, according to the census of 2011, most of them originate from Lasithi Perfecture.

HISTORY

On Tourloti found in the census of 1583, with 24 inhabitants, while later we find in other censuses.

PLACE NAME

The name of the village comes from the word Tourla, whitch means Hill.
