Turloti, a picturesque village in Heraklion, Crete, is situated at an altitude of approximately 320 meters between the settlements of Kalyvia and Tefeli, about 45 km from Heraklion city. With a small population of only 37 residents (2011 census), most of whom work in agriculture, the village name derives from the word “tourla,” meaning hill, and it has been known since 1583​.

Visitors can enjoy traditional cafés with excellent meze dishes and panoramic views. The locals maintain traditional professions, offering an authentic Cretan experience​.
