About 20 km west of Heraklion and only 2 km east of Agia Pelagia lies the beautiful and serene Lygaria Beach. This peaceful destination, with its stunning natural scenery, is easily accessible by car or bus.

The bay of Lygaria, closed off and shielded from winds, offers a safe haven for relaxing swims in its turquoise waters. Because of the rocky seabed, water shoes are recommended for a more comfortable swimming experience.
