Kserokampos

Kserokampos

Kserokampos is one of the most beautiful beaches of the eastern Crete.

Kserokampos is a settlement about 48 kilometers from Siteia and 28 kilometers from Palaikastro. It can be accessed either through the Siteia-Ziros road or through the asphalted road to Zakros.

Kserokampos is between the imposing mountains of Lasithi, wild gorges and the small fertile valley with olive, fig, almond, pine and palm trees. The calm and isolated beaches are also a feature of the magnificent landscape of the area of Kserokampos.

There are many rooms to let, taverns and mini markets in the tourist settlement next to the sea. Before you reach Kserokampos, you should make sure you have medicine, petrol etc with you.

BEACHES

The Kserokampos beaches are very different. There are beaches with white sand, with rocks, with pebbles or argil for a quick natural spa, in an area of about 6 kilometers. The sea is blue and combined with any beach in harmony.

There are many unique beaches in the area with different names. The beach with argil is very close to the Ampelos settlement and worth visiting. There are many taverns and rooms to let in that settlement. A large, protected beach with sand lilies is near the Vourlias bay. Alatsolimni, a natural sea lake that creates a salt pan next to the sea and is dry during the summer, is along the beaches.
