The seventh route of the E4 European Long Distance Path is 19,5 kilometers long and lasts 5 hours and 30 minutes, You can follow it during the whole year, it has a few difficulties and there are E4 road signs during the whole route. Starting from Loutro and, particularly, the old house in the eastern side of the settlement, you see an iconostasis (from where the path to Anopolis starts). Go up the hill for about 1,5 kilometers, then down to the sea and again up to the Pounta Cape with the small church, After that, you go down and through the Glika Nera beach and up to a steep hillside. After the hillside, go through a small stream and up to the road that you follow for 1,5 kilometers and arrive at Chora Sfakion. After having followed the asphalted road in the east for 3 kilometers, turn right to the fork and arrive at the Komitades village after 1 kilometer.The Vraskas settlement is 1 kilometer from Komitades and the Vouvas settlement is 1 kilometer from Vraskas.Then, you go up to Nomikiana and down to the Fragokastello plain on the asphalted road. Turn right in the fork a few kilometers before the Patsianos settlement, follow the road for 1 kilometer and arrive at the beach. Following the road in the left and after 2,5 kilometers, you arrive at the Fragokastelo fortress.
