The beautiful Agia Fotia beach is in the southern side of the Lasithi prefecture, about 12 kilometres from Ierapetra and 45 kilometres from Agios Nikolaos. The organized, pebbly beach with the blue water has been awarded with a Blue Flag. There are many taverns and rooms to let around the beach.

The name of the settlement came from the small Agia Foteini church. There is also a spring with drinking water in the eastern side of the beach.

The area is full of tamarisks and planes that are combined beautifully with the deep blue Cretan Sea. Beach volley competitions are held there every year.

In order to reach Agia Fotia, you should follow the road that connects Ierapetra with Siteia. There is a road sign in the middle of that road to the beach.
