Ombros Gialos (Ombrosgialos) is a picturesque, rocky beach located on the eastern coast of Cape Drapano, near the villages of Kefalas and Palailoni, just 26 km east of Chania. Despite not having sandy shores, its crystal-clear, turquoise waters make it ideal for swimming, especially for snorkeling enthusiasts, thanks to the rich seabed and the unique underwater freshwater springs.

Access is via a narrow road from Palailoni village, leading to a small pier with a ladder for easy water entry. Although the area is rocky, the waters near the pier are turquoise with soft sand just a few meters below the surface. The area features a seasonal taverna, offering visitors a chance to enjoy Cretan hospitality.
