A small but very beautiful forest is on the hill called Faragiani Kefala, in the Faragiana village, very close to the Sokaras settlement of the municipality of Gortyna.

The forest is about 90 acres and 5500 trees are in it.

A football field and a stone theatre with 300 seats are next to the small forest.
