The lake of Tourkos (i.e. Turk) or Lakos or Kolimpas, a unique natural lake, is at the top of Asterousia mountains, near Achentrias. The lake has a lot of water until the beginning of the summer and is a very important wet land.

Its name possibly comes from the tradition that the locals drowned a Turk in the lake during the Turkish occupation.

People can visit it by following the path to the Agios Nikitas monastery.
