The gorge starts from the small Agios Charalampos church in the south of the Ano Asites settlement. The small gorge is easily accessed, particularly in the summer, when water does not flow through.

The landscape in the gorge is impressive as you can see small lakes from the gathering of the water that pass through and the imposing caverns made in its sides.

The gorge is the beginning of the E4 European long distance path that passes through Kerasia, Venerato, Kiparissi and ends to Profitis Ilias.
